Kim Cattan-Skelly
FOUNDER
With over 28 years of experience in education and special education, I’ve dedicated my life to guiding students through systems that can feel overwhelming, inequitable, or out of reach. As a mother of two children who were accepted into top-tier colleges, I’ve walked this journey both professionally and personally—and I understand what it takes to navigate the process with confidence and purpose.
At BridgeToCollege, my mission is to bring that same support to families who may feel unsure, unseen, or under-resourced. I’m especially passionate about helping students with learning differences, those who have faced educational barriers, and families living abroad who need an expert voice to demystify the U.S. and international college admissions landscape. -

Liz Ward
TUTOR
As a vocational high school alumni and special education teacher with over 15 years experience working with students with both severe and moderate disabilities, I have a genuine respect and appreciation for alternative approaches to education.
When education is designed to meet the individual needs of each student, their highest potential can be achieved. The road to success is not linear, and my goal is to help students find a learning style and educational experience that is a catalyst to their individual success.

Katie Armstrong
TUTOR
I am dedicated and passionate about supporting students as they transition from high school to college. With years of experience working in undergraduate admissions at UMass Boston, I have had the opportunity to guide countless students through the college application process, specializing in first-year recruitment, essay review, and personalized coaching.
As a first-generation college graduate, I understand firsthand the challenges that can arise during this pivotal time. I am committed to making the college journey more accessible, less intimidating, and ultimately empowering for every student I work with.
In addition to my work in admissions, I have coached cheerleading for several years, which has shaped my structured yet motivating approach to student support. At BridgeToCollege, I aim to combine insight, empathy, and expertise to help each student find their path and step into the next chapter of their life with confidence.
